Thomas (Tomek) Lacek has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Thomas (Tomek) began their career at Campbell Arnott's as a Senior Finance Analyst and later transitioned to a Senior Analyst role in Supply Chain. Lacek then moved on to Polish Club Ltd., where they held positions as Director/VP and eventually became the President. Thomas (Tomek) subsequently joined Wrigley Poland, a subsidiary of MARS Inc., where they served in various marketing roles, including Senior Brand Manager, Group Brand Manager, and Director/Manager of Marketing for Brand Management. Lacek also gained experience at AmRest, starting as Marketing Director for KFC CEE and later becoming the Marketing Director for KFC. Currently, they hold the position of AmRest KFC Brand President.

Thomas (Tomek) Lacek obtained a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Sydney in 1999. Thomas (Tomek) had previously received a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree with Joint Honours in Accounting & Finance from the same university between 1993 and 1997. In 2011, they earned a CPA certification from CPA Australia. Additionally, they completed the CPA Programme offered by CPA Australia from 1998 to 2000. Thomas also pursued Russian Language Studies at Macquarie University, although the specific duration of this course is not provided.
