Tony started their career in 2000 as a Broadcast Systems Engineer at iHeartRadio, where they managed the design, construction, and broadcast operations of state-of-the-art facilities. In 2001, they briefly worked as an IT Technician and Technology Demonstrator at Enron Broadband Services, focusing on audio-visual systems and streaming-related servers. Tony then joined AmRisc in 2007 and held various roles, including Market Analytics Manager and Vice President, before becoming the Market Analytics Director and Vice President. In this role, they oversee a team of experts in data analysis, catastrophe modeling, and IT administration, delivering services to underwriters and insurance carriers. Tony's experience demonstrates their expertise in market analytics, data modeling, and technology management.

Tony Self attended Lone Star College-Tomball from 1995 to 1996, where they studied General Studies. From 1996 to 1997, they transferred to the University of North Texas, majoring in Industrial Electronics Technology and Broadcasting. Tony then returned to Sam Houston State University, where they obtained a BA in Radio and Television from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, during this time at Sam Houston State University, they also pursued a BS in Industrial Technology Electronics, which they completed in 2000.
