Ulrich Beckendorff

Ulrich Beckendorff has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Ulrich started their career as a Researcher at Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, specializing in knowledge-based planning and scheduling for shop floor control systems. Ulrich then moved on to roles such as Business Consultant at James Martin Associates, Business Center Manager at Dr. Göhring & Partner Unternehmensberatung AG, and Managing Partner at MSL Management Selection (Deutschland) GmbH. From 2003 to 2010, they were the Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter/Managing Partner at Dr. Beckendorff & Partner Business Consulting. Since 2010, they have been the Managing Partner/Owner and Practice Head Industrials, Germany at Amrop and AmropCivitas.

Ulrich Beckendorff has a strong education background in engineering and business. Ulrich obtained their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau, specializing in Production Engineering, from Universität Hannover in 1984. Ulrich further pursued their studies at Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany, where they earned a Doktor-Ingenieur degree in Production Management from 1985 to 1990. Additionally, Ulrich has also completed multiple custom programs at IMD, including the AMROP Trusted Advisor Program Modules I, II, and III, focusing on C-Suite positioning and navigating the digital landscape. Most recently, in 2023, they completed the Generative AI for Business Sprint program at IMD, specializing in AI for business applications.
