Mayra Estrada

Mayra Estrada is a highly motivated individual with a diverse background in film and media production. Currently serving as a Digitization Intern at the Texas Archive of the Moving Image and an Assistant Editor at AMS Pictures, Mayra has developed skills in archival footage digitization and content editing. Additionally, Mayra manages social media platforms to enhance engagement for AMS Pictures and holds the position of Cinematic Affairs Chair at Delta Kappa Alpha, focusing on industry education and networking for chapter members. As a Freelance Director and Photographer, Mayra has overseen productions across various genres and captured significant events and film projects. Furthermore, as the Lead of the Stop Motion Department at TSTV Animation and a former Assistant Director for the Pegasus Media Project, the largest student-run film festival in the U.S., Mayra has demonstrated strong organizational and leadership abilities. Mayra is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Radio-Television-Film at The University of Texas at Austin, building on a solid foundation established at Canterbury Episcopal School.
