Shanaka Maduranga

Shanaka Maduranga is an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in managing international raw material sourcing. Currently serving as Deputy Manager Procurement at AmSafe Bridport since March 2022, Shanaka oversees procurement activities with approximately 60 key suppliers across the UK, USA, Germany, and China. Previous roles include Senior Executive Overseas Procurement at Hayleys Fabric PLC, where Shanaka managed yarn procurement from various Asian suppliers, and Executive Merchandiser positions at MAS Holdings, Hirdaramani Group, and Brandix, focusing on raw materials for well-known brands. Shanaka's early career included an internship at the Sri Lanka Export Development Board and a role as a Textile Analyst at SGS. Currently pursuing an MBA at the University of the West of England, Shanaka also holds degrees in Chemistry, Management, and Information Technology, along with certifications in Data Science and Supply Chain Management.
