Matthew Weeden

While pursuing his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, Matthew Weeden took his first programming classes and instantly fell in love. He pursued a Master’s in Computer Science and worked as a developer and analyst in order to pursue his passion for programming. Plus, he achieved the rare feat of having not one, but two incredibly lucrative degrees with evergreen career options. Financial planners love this guy.

In his day-to-day, Matthew loves collaborating and problem solving with other developers. He’s always itching to roll up his sleeves and work on optimizing and simplifying code.

Matthew is inspired and motivated by his wife, three kids, and their life within the Eastern Orthodox Church. Fun fact: He’s been honing his skills at Go, a 2,500-year-old strategy board game and oldest board game still played today. He’s also played in several D-III national championship ultimate frisbee tournaments in college and can sing, play guitar, and draw.
