Stephan Hürzeler

Stephan Hürzeler has a diverse work experience in different companies and roles. Stephan started their career at EY in 1998, where they worked as a Manager for Accounting and Payroll Services until 2004. Stephan then joined Balmer-Etienne AG as a Senior Manager for Audit, a position they held until 2012. In 2012, they joined Amstein + Walthert as CFO, Partner, and a member of the executive board. Stephan also served as the Managing Director of the company's pension fund. Since 2013, they have been a member of the Board of Directors at Albin Kistler AG.

Stephan Hürzeler completed the Eidg. diplomierter Treuhandexperte program at the Treuhand Akademie from 2004 to 2007. This program focused on subjects such as Wirtschaftsprüfung (auditing), Steuern (taxes), Recht (law), and BWL (business management).

In 2009 to 2010, they obtained a Diploma as an IFRS-Accountant from the Controller Akademie Zurich. This diploma specialized in Internationale Rechnungslegung (international accounting).

Prior to that, from 1998 to 2001, Stephan attended the Zurich Business School and earned the Eidg. Fachausweis Finanz- und Rechnungswesen. This degree program covered subjects such as Rechnungswesen (accounting), Steuern (taxes), Recht (law), and BWL (business management).

Additionally, Stephan Hürzeler obtained the certification of Zugelassener Revisionsexperte (RAG) from the Eidg. Revisionsaufsichtsbehörde in November 2007.
