Philip Leenart

Philip Leenart is an accomplished professional in the field of tissue retrieval and medical research. Currently serving as the Chief Retrieval Technician for Musculoskeletal, Skin and Eye Tissue at Stichting WUON since August 2022, Philip oversees tissue extraction procedures to ensure operational success and quality. In addition, Philip participates in research at Amsterdam UMC focused on various aspects of pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery. Philip also contributes as a Student Reviewer for the Amsterdam Medical Student Journal, focusing on gastroenterology, and is active in the Dutch Surgical Society for Medical Students. With a background in medicine from the University of Amsterdam and previous experience in COVID-19 testing, Philip demonstrates a strong commitment to medical education and practice.
