Taco de Vries

Taco de Vries is a highly experienced academic in the field of neuroscience, currently serving as a Professor of Behavioural and Translational Neurosciences at Amsterdam UMC - Amsterdam Neuroscience since January 2001. Earlier in their career, Taco de Vries was a Postdoctoral Scientist at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) from 1993 to 1994. Taco de Vries earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuropharmacology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam between 1989 and 1993, and holds a Master's degree in Biology from Radboud University, attained from 1982 to 1988. Early education was completed at Pax Christi College in Druten from 1976 to 1982.
