Angela Ramsey Mba, Msn, Rn

Angela Ramsey has a variety of experience in both healthcare and administration. Angela is currently the Director of Operations at AMSURG, a position they began in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Central Texas Gastroenterology from April 2018 to August 2022, where they served as the Administrator overseeing both the practice management and endoscopy center aspects of the organization. From 2011 to 2022, Angela held various roles at Central Texas Endoscopy Center, LLC, including Center Director and Charge Nurse. Angela also worked as a Staff RN at CHI St. Joseph Health from June 2011 to June 2012. Additionally, Angela has administrative experience from their time as a Proposal Administrator at Texas A&M University, where they coordinated grant proposal submissions from 2006 to 2010.

Angela Ramsey, MBA, MSN, RN, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Sciences from Texas A&M University, completing their studies from 1996 to 2000. Angela then pursued Registered Nursing as their field of interest and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Texas A&M Health Science Center, attending the program from 2010 to 2011. Continuing their education, Angela completed a dual degree program, earning both a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Texas at Tyler. Angela specialized in Nursing Administration and completed their studies from 2017 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Angela has acquired various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Angela holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Angela is also a Registered Nurse, certified and recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
