Tomi Harju

Tomi Harju is an experienced civil engineer specializing in steel structures and bridge engineering, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Brückenprüfer at the Amt der Salzburger Landesregierung since March 2020, Tomi previously held roles as a Baustatiker/Bauingenieur at Primetals Technologies and Senior Inspector for steel bridges and rail structures at the Finnish Transport Agency. Tomi's project management expertise in steel bridge fabrication and installation includes significant projects such as the Drevja and Mandal bridges in Norway, as well as the Lövö, Pekkala, Linesöy, and Ranelva bridges across Finland and Norway. Tomi's educational background includes a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Tampere University of Technology and foundational studies in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Lappeenranta.
