Jordy Sehn

Jordy Sehn is a Project Engineer specializing in robotics at Amtech Aeronautical Limited, where responsibilities include managing defense contracts in collaboration with Defence Research and Development Canada. Previous experience as a Robotics Researcher at Defence Research and Development Canada involved developing a LiDAR-based tracking system for unmanned ground vehicles. During a Master's program at the Autonomous Space Robotics Laboratory, Jordy focused on planning and control in robotics, particularly in obstacle avoidance and formation control. Prior roles encompassed leading a project on GPS-denied autonomous navigation at Defence Research and Development Canada and holding positions at CSA Group, where expertise in electrical testing and product safety certification was gained. Jordy's education includes a Master's in Aerospace Engineering with an emphasis on Robotics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta.
