D. Samuel Dotson

D. Samuel Dotson, MBA has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. D. Samuel held various positions within law enforcement and security organizations. From 1993 to 2017, they served in the Metropolitan Police Department - City of St. Louis, starting as a Police Officer and progressing to the role of Chief of Police. In this role, they managed law enforcement for a community of 320,000, oversaw daily operations, and provided strategic leadership to a large organization. Dotson implemented best practices to ensure officer and community safety while minimizing the risk of judicial oversight and consent decrees.

Additionally, Dotson worked for the City of St. Louis as the Director of Operations from 2011 to 2013. In this capacity, they oversaw efficient and responsive daily operations across multiple city departments, managing a large organization and a substantial budget.
