James Kelley

James Kelley is an experienced sports journalist with a diverse background in reporting, writing, and multimedia production. Currently a Sports Correspondent for the Arizona Daily Star since September 2021, James specializes in professional soccer and hockey while covering college and high school sports. Previous roles include Sports Reporter for Verde Valley Newspapers and Arizona Rubber Magazine, where coverage encompassed various levels of hockey. Early career positions included working as a Sports Clerk and Freelance Writer at Arizona Daily Star, along with serving as Sports Editor at Arizona Daily Wildcat and Aztec Press. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and History from the University of Arizona and possesses extensive skills in writing, photography, video production, and page design.
