Diana Afonso Gil

Diana Afonso Gil has been working in the tech industry since 2016. Diana began their career as an Environmental Engineering Internship at Agência de Energia e Ambiente de Lisboa, LISBOA E-NOVA in 2016. Diana then moved on to Fujitsu Portugal in 2017, where they were an IT Support Assistant. In 2019, they joined East Atlantic Engineering, Lda. as a Full-stack Developer. Most recently, they began working at Amyris in 2022 as a Frontend Developer.

Diana Afonso Gil graduated in Environmental Engineering from Instituto Superior de Agronomia in 2016. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate of Pedagogical Competence of trainer from ACT - Autoridade para as Condições do Trabalho, a Gestão de Sistemas Integrados de Qualidade Ambiente e Segurança from ACT - Authority for Working Conditions, and a TSST - Curso Superior Técnico de Segurança no Trabalho (Nível VI) from ACT - Authority for Working Conditions. In 2018-2019, they completed a Web Development program from ETIC and a Full Stack Web Development | Computer Software Engineering program from freeCodeCamp.
