Greg Buchanan

Greg Buchanan has over 20 years of experience in the field of chemistry. Greg began their career in 2000 as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. In 2004, they moved to Kosan Biosciences as a Scientist II. In 2008, they joined Amyris, where they held the roles of Scientist, Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Director of Process Chemistry & Process Technology.

Greg Buchanan completed their postdoc in oceanography at UC San Diego from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their PhD in Chemistry from the University of the West Indies, Mona from 1995 to 2000.
