Jenn Nill has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Physics Learning Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010. Jenn was then a Research Assistant at Randolph Research Group from 2012 to 2013, followed by a Research Engineer position at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory from 2013 to 2014. During this time, they were also a Graduate Student Researcher and Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Davis from 2014 to 2020. In 2018, they were an Advanced Light Source Doctoral Fellow at Berkeley Lab and a SCGSR Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Most recently, they have been a Process Development Engineer at BCD Bioscience since 2020 and a Scientist at Amyris since 2021.
Jenn Nill obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological and Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014. Jenn then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California, Davis, which they completed in 2019.
