Peter Jackson

Peter Jackson has worked at Amyris Inc since 2008, where they have held the roles of Scientist II, Scientist I, Senior Associate Scientist, Associate Scientist III and Associate Scientist II. As Senior Associate Scientist, they were the technical lead for proteomics capabilities at Amyris and a senior member of the bioanlaytics group. As Associate Scientist II, they were responsible for handling, derivatization and analysis of iTRAQ samples for routine proteomics analysis, and was part of a team of 5 that brought targeted LC-MRM based absolute quantification of proteins to Amyris. Prior to Amyris, Peter was a Research Associate at Cal Poly from 2005 to 2008 and a Supervisor at Starbucks from 2000 to 2005.

Peter Jackson obtained their Master of Science in Biochemical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2008. Peter had previously obtained their Bachelors in the same field from the same university in 2005.
