Matthew A. Gonda

Dr. Matt Gonda is a founding member of Amytrx and serves as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Dr. Gonda heads a team of dedicated scientists and business professionals, blending industry, immunology, and peptide expertise to advance novel therapeutics for chronic diseases mediated by inflammation. Matt is a serial entrepreneur and has more than 40 years of business and R&D experience within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, with extensive knowledge in biological and small molecule therapeutics. Dr. Gonda has over 300 published articles, chapters and abstracts. He is internationally recognized for his contributions to understanding the biology of HIV as the cause of AIDS and is named on 31 patents. Dr. Gonda received his Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins University where he studied in the School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Hygiene and Public Health
