Jonathan Roberts is currently serving as Assistant Commissioner at An Garda Síochána. Prior to this role, Jonathan held various positions with the Police Service of Northern Ireland, including Head of Learning and Development, Assistant Chief Constable - Operational Support, District Commander in Belfast, Detective Superintendent in the Serious Crime Branch, and Police Detective. Jonathan has a strong background in policing, with experience in areas such as leadership training, public order, firearms, murder investigations, cyber-crime, and human trafficking. Jonathan holds a Certificate in Policing and Human Rights Law from the University of Limerick, a Strategic Command Course from the College of Policing, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The University of Sheffield.
