Asfand Bakht Yar

Asfand Bakht Yar is an Environmental Education and Administration Officer at An Taisce since January 2021, also serving as a Climate Ambassador focused on climate communications and action. In addition, Asfand has been a member of Crann - Trees for Ireland since December 2019 and previously worked as an Environmental Intern at Easy Treesie, where responsibilities included promoting tree planting initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as a Sales Assistant at Smyths Toys Superstores, a Site Engineer for the Swat Motorway Project with Frontier Works Organization in Pakistan, and a Civil Engineer with Military Engineering Services. Asfand Bakht Yar is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Studies at Technological University Dublin, building on a Master of Science in Sustainable Development and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
