As Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Analog Devices, Janene Asgeirsson is responsible for ADI’s worldwide legal and compliance functions, including M&A, litigation, intellectual property, governance, compliance and other corporate matters. Additionally, Ms. Asgeirsson is responsible for the Company’s internal audit and risk functions in her capacity as ADI’s Chief Risk Officer.
Prior to joining ADI, Ms. Asgeirsson worked at Acacia Communications as its Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer & Secretary, leading global teams with diverse responsibilities. During her six years at Acacia, she accomplished several significant strategic projects and transactions, including Acacia's initial public offering (IPO), the best-performing U.S. IPO of 2016, and Acacia’s $4.5 billion sale to Cisco Systems. Prior to joining Acacia, Ms. Asgeirsson held various senior counsel roles, including at WilmerHale and Entropic Communications, a provider of semiconductor solutions, which was acquired by MaxLinear in 2015.
Ms. Asgeirsson holds a Bachelors in Accountancy, summa cum laude, from the University of San Diego and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law.
