Sam Capps

Sam Capps is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Penetration Tester at ANALYGENCE since September 2024. With extensive experience in the field, Capps has held various roles, including Cyberspace Defense Operator in the US Air Force Reserve since January 2020, Cyber Security Assessor at Software Engineering Services from November 2022 to September 2024, and Cyber Security Analyst at CACI International Inc. from June 2020 to January 2023. Capps began a career in the United States Air Force, where roles included Radio Frequency Supervisor and Radio Frequency Technician from January 2015 to January 2020. Earlier experience includes work as a Customer Service Representative at Voss Lighting from January 2013 to January 2014. Capps holds a Graduate Certification in Incident Response from SANS Technology Institute, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networks and Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and an Associate of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Community College of the Air Force, alongside an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from San Antonio College.
