Amund Kvalbein

Amund Kvalbein is a Partner and Principal at Analysys Mason since June 2017, following the transformation of Nexia Management Consulting AS into Analysys Mason Norge AS. Additionally, Amund holds the position of Adjunct Research Scientist at Simula Metropolitan Centre for Digital Engineering since April 2019 and previously served as a Senior Consultant at Nexia DA from August 2014 to June 2017. Amund has extensive experience in research and leadership roles, having been a Senior Research Scientist at Simula Research Laboratory from June 2008 to August 2014, where Amund led the Resilient Networks group. Early career experiences include a Postdoctoral position at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a PhD in Computer Networks from the University of Oslo, with a focus on fast recovery methods in IP networks.
