John Gourley

John Gourley has a diverse work experience in various companies. John started their career as a Summer Placement Student at BAE Systems Detica in 2008 and then moved on to Citi as a Summer Placement Student in 2009. In 2012, they joined Asidua as a Software Engineer, where they implemented network protocols for the WinPath network processor. In 2018, they joined Civica and initially worked as a Data Engineer for a public sector client, developing and supporting their cloud-based data hub. Later, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer with additional responsibilities in line management and mentoring junior staff. Currently, they are working at Analytics Engines as a Senior Backend Engineer.

John Gourley obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University Belfast. John completed their degree between 2006 and 2010.
