Jennifer Channell is a seasoned professional in the battery and chemistry sectors, currently serving as the Commercial and Partnerships Lead at Anaphite since July 2023 and as the lead author for the Policy chapter of the Battery Report 2023 with the Volta Foundation. Prior experience includes roles as Innovation Lead for Batteries at Innovate UK, where Jennifer managed a multi-million-pound collaborative research and development program, and various senior portfolio management roles at UK Research and Innovation, covering areas such as decarbonizing transport and engineering. Jennifer obtained a PhD in Chemistry from Keele University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bath. Jennifer's early career included research and representation roles at prestigious institutions such as ILL and the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility.
