William Young is a Senior Formulations Scientist at Anaphite, with experience as a PhD student at The University of Manchester, researching water dissociation across 2D proton permeable membranes. Previously, as a Development Scientist at ZapGo Ltd, William led conductive additive research, developing innovative processes that improved electrode performance and served as the chief technical contact for significant projects with esteemed partners. William's career began as an Undergraduate Researcher at ZapGo, followed by a Research Intern role at Applied Materials Technology Limited, where involvement focused on advanced manufacturing processes. Additionally, William contributed as a musician in the University of Birmingham Symphonic Brass ensemble and undertook a research internship at the STFC Department of Nanomaterials. William holds a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the University of Birmingham and is currently pursuing a PhD in Graphene at the University of Manchester.
