Jeremiah Larocco

Jeremiah Larocco has a diverse work experience in software engineering and photography. Their most recent role is as a Software Engineer in the 3D Group at Anark Corporation, where they work on software that facilitates the sharing of CAD data. Prior to this, they owned and operated their own photography business called LaRocco Photo, focusing on selling landscape prints online. Jeremiah also took a sabbatical in 2021 during their time as a self-employed individual. Jeremiah has also worked as a Software Engineer at Thermopylae Sciences + Technology, where they contributed to the development of the Google Earth Enterprise Platform. Jeremiah has experience with Python, Flask, GDAL, PostGIS, and the AWS C++ SDK. Previously, they worked as a Software Engineer at SolidFire, Inc., where they were responsible for refactoring and maintaining the drive management subsystem. Jeremiah also worked on fault detection, API improvements, and hardware monitoring. Jeremiah also worked as a Software Engineer at Spatial Corp, primarily in the QA and tools group, where they worked on testing, integration infrastructure, and scripting in Perl, Python, and Scheme. Additionally, they have had roles at L-3 Communications, The Library Corporation, and Verizon Business, gaining experience in web development, satellite communication systems, and application development, respectively.

Jeremiah Larocco earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from the year 2000 to 2004.
