Claudia Schusterbauer

Claudia Schusterbauer is the current Medical Director at Anaveon. Claudia has over 17 years of experience in the medical field, with a focus on Hematology/Oncology and Early drug development.

Claudia started their career as an Attending Physician in the General Oncology department at CHUV | Lausanne university hospital in 2005. Claudia then worked as an Internal Medicine at Hospital of Neuchatel in Switzerland from 2002-2005. In 2011, they became a Clinical Scientist at Millennium Takeda Pharmaceutical where they worked on Early drug development. A year later, they started working as a Medical Director at Debiopharm International SA, working on Early drug development for specific molecules such as inhibitors of apoptosis proteins (IAPs). In 2017, they began working as a Medical Director at Celgene, working on the CAR-T program for lymphoma patients.

Claudia Schusterbauer has dedicated their career to helping others and finding new ways to improve treatments for various diseases. Claudia is an expert in their field and has helped countless patients receive the care they need.

Claudia Schusterbauer has a medical license from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Claudia also did an exchange program at the University of Perugia in Italy. Claudia interned in neurology, gynecology and dermatology at Hospital Saint-Antoine and hospital Saint-Louis in Paris, France. Claudia has a doctorate in immunology (TGF-beta1 and fibrosis) from Hopitaux Universitaire de geneve. Finally, they are certified in medical oncology from the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).
