Dan Nuffer is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in software engineering and computer vision. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Ancestry since September 2018, Dan previously held roles such as Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Loveland Innovations, where a deep learning-based roof damage detection system was developed, and Senior Software Engineer at Domo, Inc., working on the Domo App Store and Alerts services. Dan's background also includes significant contributions as a Principal Software Engineer at EMC (Mozy), where a cloud backup product for Virtual Machines was architected, and as the Founder of Nuffer Brothers Software, LLC, focusing on mobile video game development.
