Rob Gardner

Rob Gardner is an accomplished localization and user experience professional with extensive experience in managing internationalization and localization projects. Currently serving as Localization Manager at Ancestry.com since March 2005, Gardner oversees all localization projects and manages translators and vendors. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Novell, Inc., where responsibilities ranged from leading user interface projects to ensuring international product functionality. Other notable positions include project management roles at WordPerfect, ALPNET, and the Department of Defense. Gardner holds a BA in Spanish with a minor in Communications and Linguistics from Brigham Young University and has completed management courses and professionalization studies in multiple languages at the US DOD National Cryptological School.
