Omair Zafar Khan

Omair Zafar Khan has a strong background in finance and accounting. Omair Zafar started their career at KPMG South Africa as an Article Clerk and Supervisor, where they achieved top-tier ranking and gained experience in auditing financial institutions. Omair Zafar was also part of the financial engineering team, specializing in the valuation of financial instruments.

After their time at KPMG, Omair joined Anchor Group Limited as a Group Finance Manager. In this role, they established the finance and accounting department and implemented financial and management reporting systems. Omair Zafar successfully recruited a team of CAs and bookkeepers.

Omair's career at Anchor Group Limited progressed, and they eventually became the Financial Director. In this position, they strategically navigated the company through challenging market conditions and ensured accurate financial reporting to the JSE, Board of Directors, and EXCO members.

Omair Zafar Khan completed their High School Diploma at Crawford International from 1996 to 2007. Following that, they attended the University of the Witwatersrand from 1996 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2010, Omair pursued a Higher Diploma in Accounting and Finance at the University of the Witwatersrand, which they completed in 2011. Lastly, they attended the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and obtained a (CA) degree in Accounting and Finance, finishing in 2014.
