Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson is the third generation to lead the family business. He was appointed CEO of Anderson Automotive Group in 2018 after serving five years as President and previously Chief Operating Officer, VP of Sales and Marketing, General Manager of Toyota Center in Columbia, SC, Used Car Manager, Finance Manager, Salesperson and Service Advisor. Michael began his career washing cars at age 13. As a professional detailer he only crashed three vehicles.

As President and CEO, Michael is responsible for the culture, direction and performance of the company.

Michael was born in Asheville, NC, and mostly grew up in Raleigh where he attended Ravenscroft School. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, BA in Management Economics. He also holds an MBA from the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. Michael has been featured in Triangle Business Journal, Business View Magazine and was a "40 under 40" honoree by Automotive News.

Michael is involved with several community organizations in the Raleigh community. Notably, he serves on the Wells Fargo Triangle Board of Advisors and invests his time with SafeChild, StepUp Ministries and Walk for Hope.
