Samyuktha Iyer

Samyuktha Iyer is a Public Policy Consultant at Anderson Economic Group, LLC, since May 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Community Engagement Scholar at the Michigan Environmental Council, where work involved establishing nonprofit chapters in Michigan universities and surveying environmental organizations regarding diversity. Iyer has also worked as a Professorial Assistant at Michigan State University, researching the impacts of hydroelectric dams in developing countries, and as a Research Assistant studying spinoff business activities with Dr. Elizabeth Mack. Additionally, Iyer interned at Detroit Future City and worked as a tutor at Elite Tutoring Place. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Political Science and Policy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Michigan State University.
