Sara Bowers

Sara Bowers has over a decade of experience in economic development and planning, currently serving as a Consultant at Anderson Economic Group, LLC since October 2013, where previous roles included Senior Analyst and Analyst. In earlier positions, Sara worked as a Planning Intern at Delta Development Group, contributing to comprehensive economic development strategies and workforce development plans, and as a Sales Leader at The Limited, focusing on training and client experiences. Additional experience includes roles at MSU Center for Community and Economic Development, where Sara published reports on exporting trends and local development, and as a Student Consultant in the MSU Urban Planning Practicum, developing neighborhood stabilization plans. Educational qualifications include a Master of Professional Studies in Community and Economic Development from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Michigan State University.
