Lon Povich

Lon Povich is an experienced legal professional with a diverse background in public service and corporate law. Currently serving as Counsel at Anderson & Kreiger since September 2019, Povich previously held the role of Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group from March 2019 to December 2023, focusing on projects for state and local governments and advising clients on investments in legal services. Notably, during tenure as Chief Legal Counsel for the Office of the Governor of Massachusetts from January 2015 to March 2019, Povich provided legal guidance on significant policy initiatives and oversaw the judicial confirmation process. Prior to this, Povich served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at BJ's Wholesale Club, where leadership included managing substantial legal teams and navigating complex regulatory matters. Earlier experience includes key roles at The Boston Consulting Group and the U.S. Attorneys' Offices, complemented by a solid educational foundation from Harvard Law School and Dartmouth College.
