James Jenkins has worked in the engineering field since 2004. James began their career as a Technician at Gibbs Amphibians, where they demonstrated HSA technology performance and practicality, reduced test time by 50%, and developed a driveline for amphibious vehicles. In 2008, they were promoted to Assistant Engineer at Gibbs Amphibians, where they designed parts, components and initial packaging concepts, sourced and evaluated potential suppliers, and coordinated signing of non-disclosure agreements. In 2009, they were promoted to Jr. Engineer at Gibbs Amphibians, where they designed a complete brake system for a High Speed Amphibian vehicle. In 2011, they moved to Gibbs Sports Amphibians as a Project Engineer, where they managed the engineering team developing the next generation models of the Quadski product line and conducted continuous improvement activities on existing product offerings. In 2016, they moved to Food & Beverage Innovations as Director of Product Engineering, where they directed a 6-person team through all product development phases, from conceptual design through production implementation and VAVE. In 2019, they moved to YorUltrasound as Lead Ultrasound Engineer, where they lead the mechanical engineering and industrial design teams to develop Yor Ultrasound device from concept to prototype. In 2021, they moved to Andrews Cooper as Mechanical Engineering Manager and Sr. Mechanical Engineer.

James Jenkins attended Brunel University London from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. James has also obtained several certifications, including a Certified SolidWorks Professional from Dassault Systèmes in December 2020, Valuation: Alternative Methods from Coursera in November 2018, Principles of Valuation: Risk and Return from Coursera in September 2018, and Principles of Valuation: Time Value of Money from Coursera in August 2018.
