Rich Young

Rich Young is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in firmware and software engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Firmware Engineering at Anduril Industries since October 2020, Rich previously held positions at notable companies including Apple as an Audio Products Firmware Engineer, where firmware was developed for AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. With additional experience at Amazon in various software and engineering roles, including Senior Member of the Amazon FreeRTOS device team, Rich has managed teams and projects focused on device architecture and embedded systems. Rich's engineering career began at Masimo and includes significant contributions at Universal Electronics, Extron Electronics, and QSC Audio, demonstrating expertise in developing innovative solutions and managing successful technical projects across diverse industries.
