Mark Havel

Mark Havel has accumulated extensive work experience in the environmental industry. Mark currently holds the position of Senior Director of Environmental Products at Anew since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as Director of Environmental Products at Anew from June 2022 to February 2023. Mark also worked at Element Markets as Director of Environmental Products from January 2022 to June 2022, and as an Environmental Products Analyst from March 2021 to January 2022. Before that, they were with the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, Inc. where they held the role of Director of Program Implementation from August 2018 to March 2021, and Assistant Director of Program Implementation from June 2017 to August 2018. Prior to this, they worked at the Climate Action Reserve, starting as Program Assistant in June 2011 and progressing to Program Manager, Senior Program Manager, and finally as a Senior Program Manager from May 2016 to May 2017. Mark began their career as an Environmental Scientist at Crouch Environmental Services, Inc. from March 2008 to June 2009.

Mark Havel received their Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Yale University, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. After taking a break, they continued their education by pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Climate & Society at Columbia University from 2009 to 2010.
