Roger Williams

Roger Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Roger most recently served as the Head of Origination at Anew starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of President at Bluesource from 2006 to 2022. At Bluesource, they were involved in climate change initiatives and worked with clients on carbon mitigation and renewable energy projects.

Before joining Bluesource, Roger held the position of International Program Director at ICLEI USA in 2005 and served as Vice President of Business Development at Kirell Energy Systems from 2004 to 2005. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as the Director of Business Development at WorldWater & Solar Technologies, Inc.

Earlier in their career, Roger was a Broker in Environmental Markets at Cantor Fitzgerald in 2000-2001. Roger also worked as a Program Director at Globalearn in 1997-1998. Their early professional experience includes serving as an Agroforestry Volunteer in the Peace Corps from 1992 to 1995.

Roger Williams completed their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Relations at Duke University from 1987 to 1991. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Industrial Environmental Management at Yale University from 1998 to 2000.
