Phil Cowan

Phil Cowan has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Software Engineer at AngelEye Health since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at YellowBird as a Software Engineer from July 2021 to November 2022. Phil also served as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2021 to October 2021, and as a Tutor at Trilogy Education from December 2020 to October 2021. Before pursuing their career in technology, Phil worked in the hospitality industry, holding positions as a Bartender at various establishments including St Francis Restaurant from October 2019 to March 2020, The Boulders Resort from February 2019 to December 2019, The Hudson - Restaurant & Bar from November 2015 to February 2018, and Water Street Brewery from September 2011 to October 2015. In addition to their technical roles, Phil gained experience as a Mobile Developer at Sunami LLC from July 2020 to July 2021, where they built the company's first mobile application using React Native, JavaScript, and CSS in JS, along with integrating with external APIs.

Phil Cowan obtained a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from the University of Arizona in 2020. In addition to their education, they also obtained several certifications including M001 MongoDB Basics and M121 The Mongo DB Aggregation Framework from MongoDB in May 2021. Phil received the Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer certification in September 2020 and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022.
