Brandon Gay

Brandon Gay is currently the Chief Compliance Officer & Regulatory Counsel - AngelList Venture at AngelList. Brandon has over fifteen years of experience as a compliance and regulatory lawyer.

Brandon began their legal career at Covington & Burling as an associate in 2007, before moving to The Carlyle Group in 2012, where they served as Principal, Legal & Compliance. In their current role at AngelList, Brandon is responsible for overseeing the compliance function and providing regulatory counsel to the firm's venture team.

Brandon received their J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2007 and their B.A. from Rutgers University in 2004.

Brandon Gay studied sociology as an undergraduate at Yale University. Brandon then attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where they earned their JD.
