Rob Torgusen

Rob Torgusen has extensive work experience in business development and leadership roles. Rob is currently the Regional Vice President of Business Development at AngelSense since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Corporate Director of Business Development at Caravel Autism Health from April 2020 to February 2023.

Before that, Rob was the Regional Vice President at Centria Healthcare from July 2016 to January 2020, where they were responsible for operations, strategic planning, business development, talent acquisition, and managed care contracting. Rob successfully negotiated all Managed Care and Medicaid contracts in Oregon and Washington, resulting in a 140% increase in the Pacific Northwest Market in 2018, the fastest growing market in the company.

From July 2015 to August 2016, Rob served as the Vice President of Business Development at Vibra Healthcare. Prior to that, they were the Regional Director of Business Development from August 2013 to July 2015. In these roles, they provided leadership and support for the implementation of business development initiatives, trained and mentored team members, and achieved admissions and revenue goals.

Rob also has experience at Select Medical, where they worked from April 2007 to July 2013. Rob served as the Senior Director and Director of Business Development for the state of Michigan. In these roles, they coached and trained team members, developed relationships with the referral community, and exceeded budgeted EBITDA for four consecutive years.

Earlier in their career, Rob was the Regional Manager of Market Development at Tendercare Michigan Inc. from June 2001 to April 2007. Rob developed and implemented sales and marketing strategies, conducted market research, and trained staff members.

Rob's career began in the U.S. Navy Special Warfare Group/Special Operations, where they served from January 1979 to October 1997 before retiring.
