Saleem Cheeks

Saleem Cheeks is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Vice President of Communications COE at AngioDynamics since February 2018. Prior to this role, Saleem held the position of Director of Communications at Mower Agency from October 2006 to February 2018. With a strong background in political communication, Saleem has worked on various political campaigns and served in multiple capacities within the New York State Executive Chamber, including Deputy Press Secretary and Spokesman in the Governor’s Press Office and Assistant Director in the Governor’s Legislative Affairs Office. Additionally, Saleem contributed as Deputy Director of Dignitary Transportation Planning at the 2004 Republican National Convention and as an Advance Coordinator in the Local Government Affairs Office. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the State University of New York at Oswego and a certificate in Strategic Communications from The George Washington University.
