Venkat Shankarraman

Director, Medical Science Liaison at AngioDynamics

Venkat Shankarraman began their work experience in 2003 as a Research Technician at NJIT. Venkat then pursued their Ph.D. at Arizona State University while working as a Research Assistant and Ph.D. Student from 2004 to 2009. Following their Ph.D., Venkat worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center from 2009 to 2013. Venkat then joined Regulatory and Quality Solutions LLC (R&Q) as a Regulatory Engineer from 2016 to 2017. Venkat also worked at the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine, where they served as a Research Associate from 2013 to 2016 and later as a Research Professional from 2016 to 2017. Currently, Venkat is employed at AngioDynamics, where they have held multiple roles including Medical Science Liaison from 2017 to 2018, Senior Medical Science Liaison from 2018 to 2020, and currently as the Medical Science Liaison Manager starting in June 2021.

Venkat Shankarraman pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. Venkat attended the University of Madras from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they went on to Arizona State University, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from 2004 to 2009.
