Kate McDermott

Kate McDermott is an experienced dietitian currently serving in an autonomous role at NSW Health since October 2023, providing individualized nutrition education and support to clients with complex chronic diseases in the Kurri Kurri, Muswellbrook, and Singleton areas. Since January 2020, Kate has worked at Anglican Care, focusing on optimizing health and nutrition for healthy aging in aged care residential and community settings. Previously, Kate practiced in private at Megan Leane Dietitian from February 2019 to January 2020, where services included medical nutrition therapy for diabetes, food intolerances, weight management, and personalized eating plans. Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services from the University of Wollongong, earned between 2015 and 2018.
