Erik Spicer

Erik Spicer currently serves as the First Army Command Chaplain, a position held since June 2024. With extensive experience in military chaplaincy, Erik Spicer has held various roles including Anglican Priest for the Anglican Church in North America since February 2010, and previously served as the Chaplain Majors Assignments Officer at the Office of the Chief of Chaplains from December 2020 to May 2022. Other notable positions include Garrison Chaplains at US Army Garrison Fort Bliss, 181st MFTB Chaplain/Trainer at First Army, and Chaplain Resources Manager at IMCOM-Pacific. Erik Spicer's military tenure also includes significant roles within the 101st Airborne Division, 170th Infantry Combat Brigade, and 82nd Airborne Division.
