Maureen Ononiwu

Maureen Ononiwu is an experienced educator and community leader with a strong background in theological studies and children's ministry. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Wycliffe College, University of Toronto since January 2023, Maureen has also been a Pastor to Children, Youth and Families with the Anglican Diocese of Toronto since 2016. Previous roles include Director of Children's Ministry at Faith International, Accreditation Coordinator and Writer at The Salvation Army in Canada, and various positions in writing and public engagement. Maureen's academic achievements encompass a Doctor of Philosophy in Theological Studies from the University of Toronto, expected in 2024, alongside a Master of Theology and a Master of Theological Studies with a focus on Urban and International Development. Maureen also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Communications and Professional Writing from York University.
