Albert Avis

Albert Avis is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in internal auditing, financial management, and corporate governance across various sectors, particularly in mining. Currently serving as the Director of Supply Chain Governance, Compliance & Standards at AngloGold Ashanti since July 2012, Albert has held key financial management roles in multiple organizations, overseeing accounting departments and the preparation of comprehensive financial statements. Previous positions include Group Financial Manager at First Uranium Corporation and Group Financial Controller at Simmer & Jack Mines, among others. Albert holds a B.Compt (Hons) / CTA in Accounting and Finance from UNISA, the University of Pretoria, and UCT.
