Gillian Doran

Gillian Doran (FCCA) serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director at AngloGold Ashanti since January 2023. Prior to this role, Gillian accumulated extensive experience at Rio Tinto from March 2007 to December 2022, holding various positions including Chief Financial Officer for Aluminium and General Manager of Group Reporting & Controllership. Responsibilities encompassed leading financial reporting, planning, and forecasts for the Rio Tinto Group, while also partnering with the Group CFO and CEO to provide insightful analysis and influence the strategic and financial direction of the organization. Educational qualifications include a Fellow and Member status from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and ongoing involvement with the Australian Institute of Company Directors since 2019.
